If you or anyone you know is interested in becoming a Catholic, please join us for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) on Thursday nights at 7:30 PM in the school. Our weekly meetings are open to all parishioners as well and to anyone who would like to learn more about the faith. We have a diverse and interesting group of teachers, cover all kinds of topics and are open to any and all questions. For more information, please call Mary Kate Murphy at 610-623-1091.
If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or completing their Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation) then you are invited to become part of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adult (RCIA) process. Classes will begin on Monday, November 2nd. For more information, please call Father Dominic or Mary Kate Murphy at 610-623-5160. The classes will be held on Monday evenings, 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM, in the school library.
Catechumens are those who have not been baptized and wish to prepare for full initiation at the Easter Vigil through the reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation.
Candidates are those who have already been baptized in another Christian faith and wish to prepare for full Communion with the Catholic Church. A candidate can also be a baptized Catholic who is preparing to receive the Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation.
St. Cyril CCD Program is for all public school students in grades 1 through 6 and Junior High.
CCD (also known as Religious Education) offers weekly classes of instruction in the Roman Catholic faith. We provide solid formation in the teachings of the Church and encourage an active life of faith.
Students in this program receive the Sacraments of Penance and Holy Communion in their 3rd year and Confirmation in their 6th year.
Also, students who attend CCD classes are eligible to play in St. Cyril C.Y.O sports (track, cross country, baseball, football, and basketball).
Please check Adult Ed., CCD, and Ministries links for more information.
